I've been an adrenaline junkie for as long as I can remember... definitely got that from my ER doctor father!
From 2012-2013 I was a member of lululemon athletica's Howell Mill team -- one of the most fun and rewarding experiences of my life -- and because of the partnerships the company had with multiple gyms and studios around the city of Atlanta, I was exposed to all kinds of new fitness classes, including TRX, spin and other types of intense cross-training...
Once you know the natural highs and endorphins that your body can CREATE on its own... there's really no going back to a stagnant -- or even non-fitness-focused -- lifestyle. When I left lululemon, I thought (and honestly, worried) that I'd lose the "Sweat Once A Day" mentality. And then my friend and partner in crime, Cara Weaver (strongly) encouraged that I give instructing a shot... indoor cycling, maybe? So, in late April of 2014, I began teaching 3-4 times a week at The Forum Athletic Club.
AND THEN CAME CYC FITNESS!!!!
CYC has decided to make it's home INSIDE of the gym where I've been instructing... SCORE!
AND I made the "training team" to become a CYCOLOGIST by the time the studio opens. Fingers crossed!
