I know that what I have with Sam (my mommy) is so rich and rare and for some reason, because of this, I carry a certain amount of grief every year on Mother’s Day. I know how heart breaking this day is for so many. To allllll the mamas, the children of mamas gone too soon, to the hope-to-be mamas, to the mamas and children with strained relationships, to the mamas who have lost children... I hold you so dearly and deeply in my heart *particularly* on this day each year. My heart aches for you. When I hear your stories in closets, over coffee or on social media, my 💔. One of my heroes, @kate_atwood describes grief and loss so beautifully. A heart broken means there was that much love in place. Grief is ALWAYS about love. Sending you love today... 🏹♥️
