A Happy Start to Year 23

My fabulous friend and employer, Patty Stewart, kick started my birthday with some exquisitely personalized gifts last week.  Poodle-themed gifts!!
Poodle wall plate:
Poodle nightie:

Poodle stamp:
And... Grow-My-Own Poodle:

Thank you, Patty for giving me such personalized gifts!! Perfect to share on my Poodle blog!!
My sister, Julia, also made an extra special effort to make my 23rd birthday a special one.  She knows (along with everyone else who knows me) how much I love, love, love poodles and how much I miss our dog, Lizzie (who is not a poodle), while we're away from home in South Carolina.
So, on Saturday May the 7th, Julia chauffered me around to at least four of Atlanta's animal shelters to visit doggies.  We had so, so much fun... here are some of our favorite furries...

A visit to Taquerila Del Sol on Howell Mill Rd was the best way to refuel (two chicken tacos and a celebratory margerita)
before running over to Buckhead for our little cousin's lacrosse game.  Congrats to the Women's Holy Innocents Episcopal School Varsity Lacrosse team for making it to Georgia's final four championship!!
After Sarah Hart's lax victory & a quick cake celebration at Claud's
the three of us gussied up...
and headed to Buckhead's new "Flip Burger" where we chowed down on lamb burgers and slurped up supreme milk shakes (flavors, you ask? Cap'n Crunch, Nutella Marshmellow & Strawberry Shortcake!!)

Thanks to everyone who made my birthday so special!! I loved receiving so many calls, texts and emails :)
